South Korea’s Jung Jae Sung-Lee Yong Dae , overcame archrivals Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng on Sunday, to win the men’s doubles title at the US$400,000 Yonex Denmark Open.

 The second seeds, outwitted the four-time world champions in straight games, 21-16, 21-17, to regain the lead in their head-to-head once again.


Jae Sung-Yong Dae, who also defeated their Chinese opponents to win the China Masters last month, now hold a 9-8 lead, although Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng have the advantage of having beaten the South Koreans in the 2009 World Championship final.

Jae Sung-Yong Dae didn’t have a perfect tournament as they were stretched to three games in their second round and semi-final matches by Denmark’s Mads Conrad-Petersen-Jonas Rasmussen and Indonesia’s Markis Kido-Hendra Setiawan respectively.

Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng, on the other hand, had breezed past all their opponents in straight gamed and were supremely confident after winning the last OSIM BWF World Superseries tournament in Japan…………….. FULL ARTICLE
