South Korean mixed doubles pair Yoo Yeon Seong/ Jang Ye Na have been unstoppable recently

 

Looking back at the last BWF rankings of 2011, Lee Chong Wei in the men’s singles, Wang Yi Han in the women’s singles, Cai Yun/Fu Hai Feng in the men’s doubles, Wang Xiao Li/Yu Yang in the women’s doubles and Zhang Nan/Zhao Yun Lei in the mixed doubles stayed firmly in top spot.

 

At the 2011 VICTOR Korea Open Grand Prix Gold in Hwasum, the South Korean team performed outstandingly, keeping five golds and three silvers in their home country. The champions were Lee Hyun II in the men’s singles, Sung Ji Hyun in the women’s singles, Yoo Yeon Seong/ Ko Sung Hyun in the men’s doubles, Eom Hye Won/ Jang Ye Na in the women’s doubles and Yoo Yeon Seong/ Jang Ye Na in the mixed doubles; Yoo Yeon Seong and Jang Ye Na were the big winners in this tournament.

 

The final BWF tournament was the Li Ning BWF World Superseries Finals in Liuzhou, China. South Korea’s “Ha-Kim connection,” Ha Jung Eun/Kim Min Jung, beat Juhl/Pedersen of Denmark to claim runners-up spot in the women’s doubles; in the men’s doubles, Yoo Yeon Seong/ Ko Sung Hyun and Lee Yong Dae/Jung Jae Sung made it to the quarter-final stage.

 

New entrants to the rankings were Sung Ji Hyun, South Korea’s girl genius, and Lee Hyun Il who won the men’s singles at the 2011 Macao Open and 2011 Victor Korea Open Grand Prix Gold.

 

Other Victor stars ranked in the world top ten included top Vietnamese men’s singles player, Nguyen Tien Minh, and South Korea’s men’s doubles pairs, the “Lee/Jung connection,” Lee Yong Dae/Jung Jae Sung, and “Yoo-Ko connection”, Yoo Yeon Seong/ Ko Sung Hyun, and women’s doubles pair, Ha Jung Eun/Kim Min Jung.As for Chinese Taipei,golden mixed doubles pair Chen Hung Lin/Cheng Wen Hsin and golden women’s doubles pair Cheng Wen Hsin/Chien Yu Chin were both in the world top 10; It is worth noting that Chines Taipei’s “seed killer” Tai Tzu Ying has seen her ranking rise to 16th in the world in the women’s singles and it is expected that her rise will continue!
