VICTOR Becomes the Title Sponsor of China Open for 2018-2021

China Open officially upgraded to the BWF World Tour Super 1000 tournament this year. It’s now one of the top three badminton events in addition to the World Tour Finals, and the total prize money has reached $1 million for the first time. VICTOR announced to become the title sponsor of China Open in the next four years (2018-2021) earlier today, and will provide products and services such as venue equipment, shuttlecocks as well as VICTOR Professional Stringing team.

China Open was founded in 1986, previously known as one of the Super Series Premiere and was upgraded in response to the BWF restructuring. The Top 15 singles players and the Top 10 doubles duo in the world must join competition. The tournament will be held in September every year. The six-day event is expected to bring together up to 120 athletes from more than 20 countries around the world.

 

VICTOR has long been promoted and dedicated to the badminton development in China. In fact, VICTOR had sponsored China Open as early as 1999 and maintained close cooperation with Chinese Badminton Association, then acted as title sponsor of 2013 China Open.

 

What’s more, VICTOR supports China Badminton Super League for a long time, province and city teams such as Jiangsu, Hubei, Guangxi, Shanghai, and Heilongjiang are also sponsored by VICTOR.

The logo takes the flying shuttlecock as main image, the integration of geometric elements and color structure make the overall design simple and elegant. The "C" shape represents both "China" and "Changzhou", which symbolizes that the organizers welcome athletes worldwide to take part in.
