Tai Tzu Ying took her first major international tournament

 

In the BWF rankings for July, Lee Chong Wei in the men’s singles, Wang Shi Xian in the women’s singles, Cai Yun/Fu Hai Feng in the men’s doubles, Wang Shao Li/Yu Yang in the women’s doubles and Zhang Nan/Zhao Yun Lei in the mixed doubles retained their top spots.


After taking her first ever major tournament win in the US Open in mid-July, Chinese Taipei’s Tai Tzu Ying ‘s world ranking has entered the Top 20, her outsnding performances leaving everyone anticipating even better results in the future.

As for the men’s singles, the second place taken by Vietnam’s Nguyen Tien Min has allowed his ranking to rise to 7th. As for South Korea, veteran women’s doubles Ha Jung Eun/Kim Min Jung pair took first place, pushing their ranking up to 5th.

Also, after Chinese Taipei’s Cheng Wen Hsin took two second places in the Canada Open at the end of July ranking in the women’s doubles and mixed doubles is still 2nd and 6th respectively.
