All England Open Seeds: Ponsana Back Healthy, Seeded #2 in Qualifying

The All England Open, taking place between March 3-8, will kickstart the 2015 Superseries season.

They have already announced the full seeding list (click here). Thailand’s most decorated men’s singles shuttler and current world number 34, Boonsak Ponsana, is seeded second in the qualifying event of the men’s singles.

Ponsana, who has made it to six Superseries finals and won twice, was sidelined with an ankle injury halfway last season and dropped in the rankings from as high as number 4. After the extended two-month break before the new season, Ponsana said the ankle was fine now and he anticipated a great comeback starting at the sport’s oldest tournament.
