In February, 2009, VICTOR officially signed with the Korean National Badminton Team, and will sponsor the team with badminton equipment for all players. Korean team has won 6 Olympic gold medals, ranking after China National Badminton Team, in the same pace with the “Kingdom of Badminton”, National Badminton Team from Indonesia. The talented 20-years-old player, Lee Yong Dae, played Mix Double in Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 with Lee Hyo Jung, winning gold medals, ranking as the top 10 Mixed Doubles players in the world. Lee Yong Dae also played Mens Double with Jung Jae Sung, winning gold medals in many Super Series games, ranking as the top 10 Mens Doubles players in the world. Other than these top players, players such as Park Sung Hwan (Mens Singles) and Lee Kyung Won / Lee Hyo jung (Womens Doubles) are also outstanding badminton players in the world. In May, 2009, Korean team won the second place in Sudirman Cup in Guangzhou. However, one year later, Korean team beat China and won the first Uber Cup’s championship in team history.
