It’s never easy to play against World No.1 or Olympic medalists, but Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Jemie Lai had done well at Singapore Open. They prevailed over experienced Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir by 21-19, 21-18 to clinch the title as well as their second champions this year.

In fact, Goh/Lai had ups and downs so far in 2018. They reached two semis in January and the champion of German Openin March, but then stopped at first round in three major events.
