Get ready, Thailand! This year, Bangkok plays host to one of badminton's premier junior events, the BAC U15 and U17 Championships 2014 from 11th to 15th November. An annually-held event, the tournament gives potentials under the ages of 15 and 17 an opportunity to compete with international peers.
Get ready, Thailand! This year, Bangkok plays host to one of badminton's premier junior events, the BAC U15 and U17 Championships 2014 from 11th to 15th November. An annually-held event, the tournament gives potentials under the ages of 15 and 17 an opportunity to compete with international peers.
With this tournament, players get a feel of participating in a professional international badminton tournament while playing in a level playing field. BAC introduced this event as an expansion – to reach even younger talent around Asia and get them ready for the Badminton Asia U19 Championships in the future and further tournaments in the global arena.

This year, Badminton Association of Thailand is given the privilege of hosting this tournament. The main sponsor is Siam Cement Group (SCG) and VICTOR is the tournament’s equipment sponsor. The tournament will be held at CPB Badminton and Sport Science Training Centre, which is also the new training centre for the national team.
