Asia Championships: Upgraded as BWF Superseries Level

For the first year, the Badminton Asia Championships 2015 in Wuhan, China, an BAC (Badminton Asia Confederation) organized event, will be upgraded as Superseries status, which means extra prize and more important ranking points up for grabs.
Asia has been the powerhouse in badminton that has produced a great number of legendary shuttlers. With this year’s event being upgraded, the Badminton Asia Championships 2015 presents a super field where the level of competition goes as high, if not better, as a regular Superseries tournament as World No.1s in all five events have all participated this week including defending men’s doubles champion Yoo Yeon Seong.
